Rudd Announces New Centrelink CEO

The Prime Minister, Mr Rudd has announced the appointment of Mr Finn Axel Pratt,
as Centrelink chief executive officer for a five-year term,
from a date in the near future to be determined by the Minister for Human Services,
replacing Jeff Whalan, who announced his retirement in May.

Mr Pratt has a wealth of experience in the delivery of employment services, added Mr Rudd.

Mr Pratt will move from his position as associate secretary of the
Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.
